Breaking | Scissor Seven Releases Major PV: Movie, Game, Comic, and Music Party All Coming?

After following Scissor Seven for so many years, we've finally gotten a series of major new announcements!

BilibiliWorld 2026, the world-renowned celebration of trendy and dimension culture BilibiliWorld 2026 (BW2026), opened today at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

​AHAVERSE (AHAVERSE) appeared at BW2026 under the theme “On the Eve of Return, a World Unfolds,” announcing a series of new projects and new experiences built around the original IP Scissor Seven —

including the Scissor Seven feature film, the first season of the Black and White Twin Dragons anime, an official in-house whimsical adventure RPG mobile game for Scissor Seven, the AHA BOOKS comic publishing and story development initiative, the Lan Ming Hua comic, and the “Scissor Island Music Party 2026.”

As key entry points for expanding the Scissor Seven universe, the Scissor Seven feature film and the first season of the spin-off anime Black and White Twin Dragons will enrich the narrative layers of this original IP. Through big-screen storytelling and series anime development, Scissor Seven will continue to expand the space for character relationships and emotional expression.

The Scissor Seven feature film is currently in production and is planned for a worldwide release in 2028. The film will bring Seven's story to the big screen. Set in the mysterious martial-arts-revering nation of Xuanwu, Seven becomes entangled in a conflict between different factions; this will not only test his strength, but also make him rethink what life truly means in a world driven by power, ambition, and fame.

Black and White Twin Dragons is a spin-off story set in the Scissor Seven universe. Starring two young heroes, Mo Lang and Bai Qi, the story begins with a dragon-slaying journey and gradually unfolds a passionate chapter about friendship, adventure, and self-transformation. This anime adaptation will further expand the world of Scissor Seven through new stories, new characters, and new perspectives. The series is planned to launch in China in the first quarter of 2027, followed by a release in global markets.

An in-house whimsical adventure RPG set in the Scissor Seven universe is currently in development. Scissor Seven will further extend from “anime content to be watched” into “an interactive world to participate in.” Through gamified storytelling, action gameplay, and character interactions, fans will enter Scissor Island and the wider Scissor Seven world in a more active way.

The game will blend fast-paced action, offbeat adventure, lighthearted slice-of-life moments, and the IP's signature nonsensical humor; players will discover original stories, reunite with familiar characters, and experience the world of Scissor Seven in entirely new ways. The game is planned to launch in China in the fourth quarter of 2026, followed by a global release.

Comic publishing and story development will become an important pillar of the long-term building of the Scissor Seven universe. Through the AHA BOOKS publishing and story development initiative, more characters, side stories, and creator expressions will be incorporated into this original world, providing a more stable creative foundation for future content expansion.

As part of AHAVERSE's long-term commitment to original storytelling, the AHA BOOKS comic publishing label is officially launching, and the Scissor Seven universe open initiative is opening simultaneously. AHA BOOKS is a brand-new comic publishing and story development initiative aimed at supporting creators, expanding universe building, and helping more future stories under AHAVERSE continue to grow. To commemorate this announcement, the AHA BOOKS 2026 commemorative special edition made its debut at BW2026 and will later be made available through more channels.

​Lan Ming Hua is the first comic publishing work released under AHA BOOKS. As a spin-off comic set in the Scissor Seven universe, the work will revolve around the adventures of the popular character Lan Ming Hua, further expanding this growing original world. It will be presented as comic volumes, offering fans a new way to read. The first volume is planned for release in the first quarter of 2027.

AHAVERSE also announced the launch of the “Scissor Island Music Party 2026”. This is a brand-new annual live music experience inspired by the world of Scissor Seven, extending the IP's emotional connection from online viewing to real-world settings and creating more engaging fan interaction. The event will not simply replicate familiar tracks, but through new interpretations and musical exploration, allow fans to gather, celebrate, and experience the world of Scissor Seven together in a more immersive way in real life. Event dates, ticketing information, and participation details will be announced through official channels.

At the BW2026 venue, AHAVERSE created an immersive themed scene around the world of Scissor Seven, featuring mobile game demo stations, official cosplayer interactions, creator signing sessions, and more, drawing fans to stop by for photos and check-in interactions. As new projects and experiences in the series continue to unfold, Scissor Seven is forming a more diverse and open original IP ecosystem, demonstrating the long-term value and cultural vitality of the systematic, refined, and globalized operation of Chinese original IP.
